The location of this hotel is excellent, right in the middle of the historical city center. Guests have easy access to the river and can enjoy leisurely walks. the spa facilities, including the Roman bath and saunas, provide a relaxing experience after a long day of exploring. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering assistance with restaurant bookings and public transport information.
The wifi at the hotel was intermittent and unreliable, which could be quite frustrating.

the extras and care given to detail, and the fact that nothing was a problem for the staff
out of their control but the noise of the seagulls was a surprise

good and central location, very friendly staff, hudge parking inside the hotel (with lift to get you in), nice modern and clean room with a wonderful view - cathedral of porto, wonderful place - you can very easily go to the center, don't need the car or public transfer. we would come back there with pleasure!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided a thorough and friendly welcome, even offering a glass of Port. Their recommendations for exploring the city were excellent. The location of the hotel was outstanding, with a beautiful view and a lovely yard to enjoy the sunshine. The complimentary breakfast was unexpectedly good, with a variety of delicious options. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.
Nothing it is perfect.

The hotel is very new and nice. The staff is by far the friendliest I have seen in any hotel and very accommodating (better than any 5 star hotel you can find). The location is a little usual (back alley looking place) but it is very central to everything.
The only thing I did not like was my room was 2 stories and the tv and telephone are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs which is not very convenient. However, no one should spend much time watching tv in this place anyway.

Wonderful super friendly staff, duplex appartment, sunny balcony looking over nice gardens, location - 5 minutes walk to metro station, nighlife and everything else.
Hotel is at the top of a steep hill (but almost all of Porto is!!) so take care if you are disabled.

We had an absolutely enjoyable stay at this four-star hotel. The location is perfect, placing you right in the heart of the city and within easy reach of all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a comfortable sitting area. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast and the fact that there were options for everyone's taste. The free parking was a big bonus, allowing us to explore the city without worrying about finding a space.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to, a pousada located in an old wine cellar in the most central part of Porto, refurbished to modern excellency. The staff, and especially Raquel, was also great and most helpful.
Driving to and into the hotel was not the easiest, but if you don't drive a suv it is manageable.

Stayed in a hotel in the historical center of the city, which was a great location for us. the hotel is near all the main attractions and the tram stop is also in close proximity. the staff were welcoming and provided us with a map of the area with recommendations for places to visit. the garden area was a nice spot to relax in the afternoon.
There were aspects of the hotel that we didn't enjoy. the breakfast area was small, and on the rainy morning we were there, it got overcrowded and uncomfortable.

Just about everything. Although the hotel was in a run down area of Porto, the location itself was great. It was within walking distance of everything, just don't let the surrounding area turn you off. The hotel staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly and the welcoming drink of port wine and the complementary bottle of port was a nice touch. The breakfast was also a nice way to start the day. The room is small, but if the weather is good you can sit outside. Our group also enjoyed the roof top terrace. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We didn't like the run down surrounding area. It was very hilly and strewn with garbage and filth. Once you get to the hotel, things change- modern, clean and beautiful.

The Vitoria Village is a very welcoming hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated in an excellent location in the old town. Shopping, the river and lots of tourist attractions are just a 5 or ten minute stroll. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a modern design and represents excellent value for money.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
